CommunityThere are several ways in which the user and research community can participate in the Lipi Toolkit effort:
Several individuals from IISc and HPL contributed to LipiTk 1.0, and will continue to contribute to future releases. Some more ongoing activities outside of HPL are listed under Roadmap. Several ideas for such contributions can be found under Roadmap and also under Resources. If you would like to contribute the outcome of your efforts (no obligation except for GPL'd components), kindly read the following. LinksContributing code to the Core ToolkitYour source code contribution can be in the form of a preprocessing function, feature implementation or recognition module. We welcome your contribution to the toolkit, subject to the following conditions:
Other code contributionsYou are welcome to contribute standalone tools, subject to the same conditions as above. These would not be part of LipiTk releases but would be hosted as standalone tools. Other contributionsYou can also contribute application demos, and well-tested pre-built recognizers for hosting on this site. These will not be part of the official releases, or be officially supported by the LipiTk Development Team. In all these matters, the decision of the Lipi Toolkit Development Team at HP Labs India is final. |
